Empoworks offers customized as well as preplanned educational programs for your company or organization’s needs. Our courses begin with critical concepts and proven systems to teach us how to take ownership of our lives, our physical and mental health, and our wealth, in other words, total wellness.
Our educators have years of experience and certifications to teach a full spectrum of courses designed specifically for different age groups, education levels, vocations, company’s, or organization’s needs.

Life
Life planning begins with understanding and acceptance of personal responsibility. You have control of your life. Life will most likely throw us curve balls but if we have the knowledge, a plan, the skills, and tools to help us stay on track to reach our goals and dreams, we can and will achieve them. Most people spend more time planning a family vacation or wedding than they do their lives. We map out where we want to go and use a GPS to get us there or hire a wedding planner to layout all the specific details of our big day but what about planning our lives? What if we had a GPS or a proven system to guide us and direct us along life’s journey? Well that is what we teach, a system of life, to help you become the best version of yourself, to keep you on track even when life’s detours happen, you can get back on track and still achieve your dreams.
Health
Health planning begins with education. Total wellness, incorporates, body, mind, spirit, and financial health. Understanding and implementing basic nutrition, fitness, control of your thoughts, connection to a higher power and how money works is critical to creating a sustainable health and wellness plan for your life. We offer programs and courses to teach the basics as well as advanced plans with programs and coaches to keep you on track.
A large part of wellness is empowerment through our designed environment. Empoworks also offers design courses for realtors, home builders, remodelers, and home health care providers. Our founder, Lisa Sandlin is an expert in universal and aging in place design. She authored the book entitled, Houses That Work for Life! She has years of experience teaching at the university level as well as through the National Home Builders Association. She has taught a full range of courses from business planning, professional practice, interior design, and universal design. Her students encompass a full range from freshman, to seniors, and teenagers to professional adults. She has offered courses to occupational and physical therapists, home builders, remodelers, realtors, and home health care providers specifically on the design process and guidelines that empower us to stay in our homes even when our physical abilities change due to aging, accidents, or illness. These courses may be general or specifically designed for your unique niche in this market.
Wealth
Wealth or financial planning education is extremely important to our total wellness. Being financially literate and understanding how money works changes many aspects of our lives. If we are not educated in the basic concepts of money and how it affects our lives, we can be taken advantage of by the financial industry. We use the How Money Works, Stop Being a Sucker educational platform. We can also customize the courses specifically to your company or organization’s needs. Many of us assume people making higher incomes know more about money than those making less, in our many years of experience, we have discovered this not to be true. Most Americans have never been taught the basic concepts or steps to obtaining financial security and independence. Our mission is to change us from a financially illiterate society to a financially literate one!
